- An interval is the measurement or distance between one note to another.
- The first note is counted as “one”. The interval can be higher than the first note or lower than the first note.
- Using the diagram below, the intervals show the distances between two notes. Eg: C to G is a 5th.
- The following diagram shows examples of some intervals on a piano/keyboard.
